Three Ways to Survive a Chorus Battle is a chorus battle set in the world of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. Incarnations will team up to go through 3 main scenarios and 2 optional sub-scenarios where they are presented with conditions to clear each scenario. Topics covered in this CB span from the start of the manhwa, up until the 73rd Demon King ending.

Judges will be anonymous and will be hidden behind their Constellation title, with the exception of the lore judges, who are the hosts of the Star Stream. Constellations will be revealed whenever they choose to reveal themselves, or at the end if they don't choose to reveal themselves at any point before.The hosts and staff members of this CB are called Dokkaebi, while the judges are the Constellations.

Rounds in TWSCB are called Scenarios, and are split into 2 categories: Main scenario, and Sub-scenario. Main scenarios are the main rounds that incarnations are required to participate in to advance, while sub-scenarios are more for fun and are optional. Main scenarios are scheduled as typical CB rounds are, while sub-scenarios are scheduled in between main scenarios, while the incarnations are waiting for results.The results will show how many coins are awarded to you instead of points. Sponsor contracts are special contracts that give bonus coins if the conditions are met. These contracts will change for every new Main Scenario.

sub-scenarios

Sub-scenarios are optional rounds that have no bearing on the final results, but it could contain a hint for the next scenario. Visuals are not required in sub-scenarios, we just need light mixing. These entries will instead be ranked by the hosts (who are not at all qualified, this is just for fun, or for lore brainrotters!).

revival system

Incarnations eliminated in Main Scenario 1 can submit an entry for Main Scenario 2 and have a chance at redemption.
The two teams that rank the highest, as well as place in the top 50% of their revival scenario will be revived and can participate in Main Scenario 3. After the 2nd Main Scenario, any future revival attempts will be rendered invalid.

RULES

GENERAL RULES

  • Plagiarism will result in an immediate elimination with no warnings after an investigation.

  • Any use of AI will also result in an immediate elimination.

  • Please do not DM any of the hosts or judges with regards to the CB.

  • If you have any inquiries, please use the appropriate channels in the discord server, or DM us on Twitter.

  • Please do not give unsolicited critiques to the other teams. Teams caught doing this will face point deductions, and repeated offenses will result in elimination.

TEAM RULES

  • Teams can have a maximum of 12 total incarnations and 8 vocalists, with a minimum of 5 incarnations and 3 vocalists.

  • Incarnations are required to have an active social media account. (eg. Twitter, Youtube, Bsky)

  • Anonymous members are allowed, but they are required to disclose their identities to the Dokkaebi.

  • Eliminated members are allowed to join an existing team, but that team must submit a sub-scenario entry. (Remember that visuals aren't required for these!)

  • Incarnations are only allowed to join one existing team, whether it be as vocalist or as staff member.

  • Teams are allowed to change their roster, but must contact a Dokkaebi (Staff member).

  • Teams must have a leader and a co-leader to serve as a main point of contact.

Scenario Requirements

  • Entries must have a minimum length of 3 minutes, and a maximum of 7 minutes.

  • The submission must be uploaded to both Youtube and Google Drive, and contain the following:

  • Script

  • WAV of Acapella

  • WAV of final mix

  • Alternate link to video

  • Asset folder (Custom and External)

  • The title format should be:【TWSCB-MS#/SS#】Song Name【Group Name】
    (eg.)【TWSCB-MS2】Never Die【Dokkaebi】

  • Incarnations must be credited unless they are anonymous.

  • Topics that cover the original material must not cover past the 73rd Demon King arc. Any information from the novel has to be subtle.

  • Mashups, remixes, and translated lyrics are allowed, but original songs are not.

  • Entries are required to have a trigger warning if it covers a sensitive topic.

Grace period

  • Grace period will start after the round deadline and is available for 48 hours.

  • Point deduction will start at 0.5 per hour for the first 24 hours, and will increase to 1 per hour for the next 24 hours.

  • A Dokkaebi must be informed before grace period starts with evidence if a team is late due to rendering issues. These teams will have no point deductions if the evidence was presented.

  • Teams that fail to submit before the grace period ends will be eliminated.
